Salim Abdullah Al-Jufaili

Salim Al Jufaili holds a Masters degree in environmental management specialising in disaster management, health safety and environment. He has extensive experience in HSE issues. Currently working as the Executive Director of ALSAFA ETS, Salim has worked for Ministry of Regional Municipalities, Environment and water Resources (MRMEWR) for more than 11 years; the last years as Environmental Planning Manager. He served as Technical Expert in Environmental Impact Assessment, Marine Studies and Waste Management. He was responsible for all environmental permits and evaluation of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies.

Salim has also worked as HSE Manager for 6 years for different companies in Oil and Gas sector in down stream and upstream projects such as BP Oman, OPP and Omifco. He specializes in Marine and Coastal Studies, Environmental Studies, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Fire Systems and fire fighting management, Environmental Management Systems, Environment Auditing, Due Diligence, Contaminated Land Remediation techniques.

Masood Ahmad

Masood Ahmad holds a Masters degree in environmental studies from York University Canada and more than 15 years experience in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental Site Assessment (ESA), Environmental Management System (EMS), Environmental Planning, Social Impact Assessment (SIA), and Sustainable Development.

He has extensive experience in environmental and social impact assessment studies. Currently he is working as Manager Environmental Division of ALSAFA ETS. Previously he worked as Project Manager HMR Environmental Engineering Consultants, Oman.

He also worked for Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) – A Shell Company in Oman, as sustainable development (SD) focal point.

Masood has also worked on the ISO 14000 based environmental management system (EMS) for the Engineering and Public Works Department of the Town of Richmond Hill, Canada.

He has also written position paper for sustainable industrial development in Pakistan including the following:

He has worked on a number of donor-funded projects including working as Coordinator for the Dutch-funded Environmental Technology Program for Industry (ETPI):

He has also worked with National Environmental Consulting, Pakistan as Project Manager responsible for preparation of project proposals, coordinating kick-off/ client meetings, providing technical/commercial advice, and responding to client queries.

Ramgopal Ramisetty

Ramgopal Ramisetty holds a Masters degree in environmental engineering from North Dakota State University, USA, in addition to this he is having ISO 14000 Certificate as a Lead Auditor. He is having around 12 years experience in various Environmental issues, e.g. ISO 14000 Auditing, EMS Implementation & Auditing, Waste Minimisation techniques, Quality Systems, and GMP for the Regulatory, Manufacturing and R&D industry, Environmental Training and he is specialized in Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental Site Assessment (ESA), Environmental Management System (EMS), Environmental Planning, Social Impact Assessment (SIA), and Sustainable Development.

At present he is working for PDO as Environmental Advisor for ISO 14001-2004 Auditing.

Dr. Mathava Kumar

Dr. Mathava Kumar is PhD (Environmental Engineering), Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India. He is having more than 4 years of experience in various environmental issues.

He is having extensive experience in the field of waste management and treatment techniques like Bioremediation/Biotransformation, Biofiltration, Adsorption, Ozonation,

At present he is working for ALSAFA ETS as an environmental consultant and responsible for various waste management projects.

Dr. Nadeo Ramji Meshram

Dr. Nadeo Ramji Meshram holds a Phd and specialized in Environmental Chemistry with 26 years of international experience in Oman and abroad in Research & Development in branches of Chemical Technology, viz, Zeolite molecular Sieve manufacturing for Environment friendly Chemical Process & detergents, Liquefied natural gas, oil refining, Catalysts for fertilizer & methanol, setting up of chemical plant for creation of confidence in the capability of organization & its process, the quality of its product & to provide a basis for continual improvement. This, I believe, can lead to increased satisfaction of customers & other interested parties & to the success of the organization.

He worked with Chemical Industry Co. (SAOG) & Al- Intaj Sulphochemical Industry Co. Oman as a Manager R & D. During this tenure he was responsible for Interfacing with Environmental Ministry for handling of all matter related to environmental clearance to the project including the carrying out of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). Obtaining of environment permit from Ministry Regional Municipality & water resources for import of Raw materials, and export of finished product. Establish, document, implement & maintain Quality Management System (QMS:90001:20000) identification & application of the process needed for QMS through out organization.

Vikram Jaish

Vikram Jaish holds M.Tech (Chemical Engg.), Nirma Institute of Technology, Ahmedabad, India. He is having more than 4 years of experience in various environmental issues.

He is having extensive experience in the field of Wastewater Treatment Process & Design, EIA, P & I Designing and Process Safety System.

Abdullah Al-Jabri

Abdullah Al-Jabri holds a B.Sc. (Marine Sciences) from Sultan Qaboos University, Oman. He has adequate experience with various environmental impact assessment (EIA) studies in Oman. He has deep understanding of Omani regulations and legislation as this pertains to the environmental projects in the country. His work with some of the oil and gas operators has given him enough confidence to work with the oil and gas industry in the Middle East.

Abdullah’s major areas of interest include environmental legislation, socio-economics, contaminated site assessment, and Monitoring & Permitting Assistance.

Mohd Habeeb Khan

Mohd Habeeb Khan holds a Masters degree in environmental Sciences from SRTM University-India and having more than 8 years of experience in various environmental issues.

In addition to this he is having extensive experience in environmental monitoring, baseline data collection for EIA’s, Industrial and hazardous waste management services, Operation & maintenance of hazardous waste treatment and disposal facilities, Remediation techniques, land farming, Thermal Desorption Techniques (TDU), recycling of contaminated oil by utilizing three phase centrifuge technique, Environmental management systems, and Environment Auditing.

Mamdouh Michel Estafanous

Mamdouh Michel Estafandous is holding Civil Engineering graduation degree from university of Alexandria and having extensive experience in Industrial and hazardous management services. At present he is working with ALSAFA ETS as a capacity of waste management consultant.

Earlier he worked in VEOLIA for environmental services (International Company part of VEOLIA Environment) as a position of project and studies Manager for a period of five years and he was mainly responsible for Designing and cost estimating new landfills including cells, lining, leachates treatment system, landfill gas collection and treatment system, rainwater collection systems, Designing, preparing the tender documents, tendering and consultation the new landfills and all constructions, Gathering and analyzing data concerning the treatment process, Studying the application of the new technologies, Studying new solutions for the technical and practical problems, Following all the analyzing and researches works concerning ground water, air quality and gas emissions, Member of the Reflection committee.

Further he worked with CAMPNON BERNARD S.G.E. (FRENCH COMPAGNY) as a Site & Technical office engineer Civil, Arrangements and water tightness works and he was responsible for the project “Greater Cairo Metro – line II – Phase 2B from Cairo University square to El Omrania, Azhar Road Tunnel.

Syed Hassan

Syed Hassan holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental Sciences from College of earth & environmental Sciences Punjab University-Pakistan and having more than 1 years of experience in environmental monitoring and modelling.

In addition to this, he is having experience in baseline data collation of air dispersion modeling, environmental auditing, environmental monitoring and assisting for preparation of EIA’s reports.

Senathipathi holds a Master degree in Environmental Sciences from Bharathiar University and having more than three years of experience in various Environmental issues.

He is having extensive experience in the field of Analysis of Air Quality, Water Quality, Soil Quality, Wastewater, Sludge, Heavy Metals, Pesticides and Microbial content.

He has adequate experience in Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Monitoring, Air Dispersion Modeling, Baseline Data Generation, HSE Implementation, GIS Mapping and Cartography.

Mrs. Vanda Maria Domingos Mendonca Ph.D. (Coastal Ecology), from University of Aberdeen, Scotland, UK and having 16 years experience in Design, Taxonomic identification of marine and coastal fauna and flora, National (Oman), regional and international Environmental Legislation, Evaluation of EIA and Industrial Projects Environmental Reports, Data treatment and Statistics for Biology/Ecology.

Dr. Adnan Al-Azri

Mr. Dr. Adnan Al-Azri Ph.D. in 2003 from University of North Wales, UK (Biogeochemistry), M.Sc in 1995 from Institute of Technology (Biological Oceanography) and B.Sc in 1991 from Sultan Qaboos University, Oman (Fisheries Sciences). He has 11 years experience in Biogeochemistry, Biological Oceanography and Fisheries at Sultan Qaboos University, Oman.

Andrew Jamieson

Mr. Andrew Jamieson holds a masters degree specialised in Environmental Science, from Strathclyde University, UK. He is having 8 years experience in Project Managing numerous terrestrial, coastal and offshore projects, nominally conducting baseline surveys (air/noise/marine); assessing engineering design data (Conceptual/Master Plan/FEED/EPC); identification and evaluation of environmental Impacts and subsequent mitigation planning for the Oil and Gas, Infrastructure, Tourism and Power sectors. Furthermore, capable of performing environmental audits, predictive and consequence modelling (air/noise/ hydrodynamic) and environmental site assessment. In addition to this he is capable for preparation of project proposal writing / costing and QA/QC duties.

Mr. Zahran Al-Busaidi

Mr. Zahran Al-Busaidi holds a B.Sc. (Geology) degree from Sultan Qaboos University, Oman. He is having 6 years experience in Environmental Impact Assessment, Hydro-geological Investigations, Regulatory Compliance, HSE Auditing, Waste Management Plans, Permitting and Due Diligence.

Charles Borkowski

Charles Borkowski has more than 20 years of experience in ecological and Archeological studies, environmental and social assessment and management to upstream oil and gas and construction industries. He has vast working experience in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He also worked as a specialized environmental advisor to exploration and development for Shell group’s second largest international operation (Petroleum Development Oman).
